The Primestart Team

The Primestart Team includes some very important people and some very familiar faces!

The newest member of The Primestart Team is Lee Beach. Lee has a wealth of coaching experience from his time at Pontypridd Rfc and started his Primestart development role at the Creative Cup Festival in mid May. He will combine his Primestart coaching role with playing for Neath in the backrow.

Another key member of the crew is Brian the Bull who visits all the Primestart schools in Neath and Port Talbot on a regular basis. Brian has had a facelift over the summer and has recently competed in his first every mascot race, beating the opposition hands down! On that night he launched his very own junior bulls club so if you want to get to know Brian a little better and get hold of some fantastic goodies join up today!

Another very familiar face that could be coming to a school near you very soon is Rowland Phillips head coach at Neath Rugby club, and defence coach with the Welsh rugby team, so speak to Rowland if you wan't any tips on your rugby, or if you want to hear some funny jokes! 

Gruff is Neath Rugbys assistant coach, he will also be helping out with the coaching side of Primestart and like Rowland will be on hand to give you top tips on rugby!

Our rugby players will also be visiting your school with our community team over the coming months.

Don't forget to visit us on a matchday at the Gnoll to find out who our players are and get their autographs.  Under 16's go free with under 12's having to be accompanied by a paying adult.
