Wasn't last season great for Neath Rugby? A fantastic league season culminating in that brilliant cup win at the Millennium Stadium certainly made it great to be a supporter. Of course, we can't guarantee a repeat for the 2008/09 season, but Rowland Phillips and Beachys Boys will be joined by many exciting signings, so everybody at Neath Rugby are working hard to ensure our continued success.

It isn't just on the pitch where we are moving forward. Off the pitch there are certainly also a number of great developments taking place:

Our Primestart Community Team is growing its involvement with local schools making sure that we keep the enthusiasm for rugby union growing throughout the region.

We are also planning two touch rugby festivals in September at The Gnoll where local teams from businesses, pubs and others can enjoy a mixture of social rugby. Also watch out for details on the inaugural Neath Rugby Doggie Walk on 30th August, where we will be inviting the whole community to a wonderful day raising money for local charities and for Primestart.

The match day experience is also improving with our new BBQ promoting our own special, The Gnolls bangers and burgers (locally produced) and new Family/Community Marquee with plenty of activities for all ages.
