BULLY'S BACK
Neath will be reinforced for their British & Irish Cup-tie against Munster 'A' on Saturday (2.00pm) by the return of a former Gnoll favourite - "Brian the Bull", Welsh rugby's most famous mascot, is coming out of retirement specially for the occasion.
Brian hung up his boots last March before the Welsh Cup semi-final against Swansea and he has been badly missed by supporters at The Gnoll who revel in his halftime entertainment.
Brian said, "I hoped my younger brother - Barry - would follow me but he was below par in the semi-final and has never been back. But this is a huge game for Arwel and the boys and I have been tempted out of retirement for one last time."
"I've been put out to clover a while but I've had enough of grazing around and now I'm back ready to lock horns with those Munstermen who know a bit about dairy farming themselves. You herd it here first : Come match day, I'll be right in the moo-d !"
Deenna Barton, Neath's Commercial Development Manager said, "Everyone will be delighted to see Brian back. We've all missed his unique brand of entertainment and, with the bargain admission charges, I'm sure all his young (and older) fans won't want to miss his return."
