Pat's Perspective on the Llandovery game.

PAT'S PERSPECTIVE
Saturday's bonus-point win over Llandovery restored us to top position in the Premiership.
It was ample reward for our getting the only game on in the Premiership and for the never-say-die spirit of what is at the moment an injury-reduced squad.
Nobody is pretending it was a perfect performance but it was a win and we're happy to take that.
Like ourselves, Llandovery were keen to play and they showed why they are the "form" side at the moment but our boys stuck to it, kept playing, never gave up and stole it at the end on the back of a 4 tries to 2 verdict.
There were some uncalled for comments from supporters during the game on Saturday. Perhaps they have become spoilt by success over the last few years.
The reality of the situation at the moment is that we are up against it. We have supplied more players of outstanding talent, to the Ospreys than anyone else; it is not easy to readily replace them especially when injuries hit.
But what we have is a tight squad of players who are working hard for each other in true Neath fashion.
Hopefully, one or two will return for the big Boxing Day derby (4.00pm) which we are all looking forward to.
See you there, be early and enjoy a Merry Christmas
Pat
P.S. - thanks to all the volunteers who put the covers back on immediately after the Llandovery game. You were a lot quicker than the 8 of us who took them off in the morning !! Well done.
