Gareth Jones Trust Fund receives massive donation from voyager's charitable club.

Neath Rugby learnt yesterday of a £3,000 donation that has been made to the Gareth Jones Trust Fund.

The Voyagers based in London are committed to raising funds to support injured amateur sportsmen and sportswomen.
The club, was founded in 1954 by a small group of London Welsh supporters and has raised over £100,000.00 over the past 50 years.

Voyagers volunteer Edgar Jones made contact with Neath Rugby On Thursday to inform the club that they have raised £3,000 for the three young children of Gareth Jones, the biggest single donation made to the trust fund.

Added to this, Neath Rugby players who attended the Neath AFC v Swans game on Wednesday night collected over £1, 500 from generous football fans, by doing a bucket collection at half time.

The welsh all blacks squad are also gearing up to compete in this years Great Wales Run, taking place in Cardiff Bay next Sunday.
Each member of the squad has been given a target to raise £200 each and generous folk are also making donations at the club bar and retail outlet opposite Iceland.

Those wishing to contribute to the fund can do so using the following methods:
• Cash donations to be made at the club shop
• Cheques made payable to The Gareth Jones Trust Fund and posted to Neath Rugby Limited, The Welsh All Blacks, 13 Old Market St, Neath, SA11 3NA.

The club is also keen to hear from anyone with thoughts or suggestions on potential fundraising events or indeed those who wish to hold an event in their work place, local club or community to raise money for Gareth's family.
