Dunvant, Tue 18th Nov 08 KO: 19:15
DUNVANT nil NEATH 47 points
Neath ran out comfortable 7-try winners in a patchy performance at Broadacgre against Division One strugglers Dunvant.
The Welsh All Blacks were obviously the stronger outfit but played only in fits and starts and the result was never in doubt.
Neath registered three first-half tries from lock Haydn Pugh, winger Kevin James and centre Matthew Nuthall, outside-half Matty James converting all three for a 21-nil lead.
In the second-half, tries were added by full back Gavin Jones, Nuthall again, scrum-half Kevin Farrell and Matty James who converted three on his way to a 17-point haul.
Dunvant put up spirited resistance with centre Michael Arnold, outside-half Gareth James, hooker Mark Loughlin and lock Rhys Tucker showing up well.
