Two trys from Replacement Gareth Gravell seals a win for Neath
Llanelli opened the scoring with a Luke Richards drop goal, Matthew Jarvis responded with a penalty to draw the scores level. The youngster had the chance to put the home side in front but the kick went wide.

Neath controlled the half well, playing with more confidence than they have in recent weeks. Llanelli looked to cross for a breakaway try but Kevin James came across with a try saving tackle to save Neath's blushes.

However after 35 minutes James Bater scurried over for the visitors first try of the afternoon, Luke Richards converted making it Neath 3 Llanelli 10.

Neath captain Lee Beach gave away a penalty to allow Llanelli to extend their lead 12 minutes into the 2nd half.
Neath continued to keep possession but failed to convert pressure into points for long periods of the half.

The binning of Ian Jones on 74 minutes proved crucial for Neath as the extra man advantage allowed them to cross for a well deserved try through replacement flanker Gareth Gravell.

Matthew Jarvis converted Gravell's try making it Neath 10 Llanelli 13, however Luke Richards added to their tally with a penalty.

The dying minutes of the game were nail-biting with Neath stealing their first line out of the afternoon and scoring their second try of the afternoon again through Gareth Gravell.

Matthew Jarvis missed the penalty but the try alone allowed Neath to go in front for the first time in the game.
After 7 minutes of injury time the home side got their win much to the delight of the Neath faithful.
